Global Wines, s.r.o. is one of the largest importers and distributors of brand-name foreign wines in the Czech Republic. It was established in 2001 as a joint initiative between:

At the present time the company exclusively represents and distributes in the Czech Republic over 400 types of wine from 30 of the most important wine-growing areas around the world. Its range also includes 1,700 grands vins and vintages from Bordeaux, which can be ordered through its partner the negotiant Chateau Classic. The range is completed with wines from prestigious Moravian vintners such as Tanzberg and ZD Sedlec.

Global Wines, s.r.o. allows customers to order selected wines over the Internet, by e-mail, by fax and by telephone; wines are then delivered to a customer-specified location and payment is made when the delivery is accepted. Along with wine, appropriate glasses and other sommelier-related accessories are available for purchase. The company also regularly organises tasting sessions concentrating on individual wine producers for its customers with the presence of foreign or domestic experts in the field.
